Zangetsu, sometimes called Hollow Ichigo, is the manifested spirit of Ichigo Kurosaki's Zanpakuto spirit as well as his inner Hollow. Inherited from his mother, Masaki Kurosaki, Zangetsu represents the dark side of Ichigo's soul. He has stated himself to represent Ichigo's purest instincts.
