Las Noches is a massive fortress which can be seen for miles. It consists of a main building with a domed center surrounded by several large towers and smaller buildings. Atop the dome are five smaller towers, which appear to contain areas such as Aizen's throne rooms and the Espada meeting hall. Like everything else in Hueco Mundo, the main building is colored white.
Las Noches is easily the largest structure in the Bleach universe, appearing as large as (if not larger than) Seireitei in Soul Society. The inside of Las Noches' dome simulates the blue sky of the Human World. The position of the halls within the palace can also be adjusted, allowing the one operating them to direct the movements of intruders. Due to their immense power, Espada ranked Cuatro and above are forbidden from releasing their Zanpakutō within Las Noches. It is also forbidden for any Espada to use a Gran Rey Cero inside Las Noches.
BiographyEditLas Noches was once controlled, along with (presumably) all of Hueco Mundo, by Baraggan Luisenbarn. He spent most of his time sitting on a throne due to extreme boredom. During this time, no roof to Las Noches existed, because Baraggan believed that, as the "God-King" of Hueco Mundo, the sky itself was his roof. At some point, Baraggan's palace was invaded by Sosuke Aizen and his two subordinates, Gin Ichimaru and Kaname Tosen. The trio slaughtered Baraggan's army, dethroned and enslaved the shocked Vasto Lorde, and Aizen took control of Las Noches, becoming its absolute ruler, along with Hueco Mundo itself.
As time passed, the palace was redesigned with a dome-like roof and other additions. Once the Espada were created, each one was given his/her own personal quarters. Whether or not these chambers were built after Aizen took over is unknown, though it seems likely, as no such areas were ever seen during Baraggan's reign.
